This is my Tile we made them through our art week.
Mr S did a workshop on these tiles.
How we made them was we got coffee cups and scoped about one and a half to two cups of sand into our ice cream then we used another ice cream container to flatten the sand down.
Next we got shapes you could have your initials, pineapples, teddy bears and much more. We held them up so they would face the right way and we would put them straight back down without doing anything to the shapes.
Then Mr S made concrete mixture and poured it in, DRY DRY DRY.
They were ready to be painted, the first sort of paint was spray paint, we got the options of blue, green, orange and purple. DRY DRY DRY. The next sort of paint was paint brush paint, as you can see in the picture above I painted the top of my pineapple green and the bottom yellow, I painted my initials red.
HOPE YOU LIKE MY TILE!
Way to go Micah. Very hard to get the letters the rights way round but you did a great job. Well described Blog post as well!! Perhaps next time we can get the photo a little bigger.
ReplyDeleteNice tile dude it looks cool its is so beautiful with the blue but I think you should improve for the variety of things you put instead of putting 3 pineapples I would probably place something else instead of the pineapples but thats a idea.
